At CaloBuddy, you maintain 100% ownership and control over your personal information. If you wish to permanently delete your CaloBuddy account and all associated data, you can do so immediately using either of the two official methods below.

Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)

If you still have the CaloBuddy mobile app installed on your device, you can trigger an instant, automated database wipe in four simple steps:

Open the CaloBuddy app on your Android or iOS device.
Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
Scroll down to the Account section and tap "Delete Account".
Type your confirmation and tap "Permanently Delete".

✓ Instant Effect: Your session is invalidated immediately, your profile is hidden from squad feeds, and all storage deletion jobs are queued.

Method 2: Direct Automated Web Deletion (Without App)

If you have already uninstalled the application or cannot access your mobile device, authenticate below to immediately and permanently purge your account and all associated data directly from our secure cloud backend. No external Google form or waiting queue needed.

Data Deletion & Retention Disclosure

In compliance with Google Play Data Safety and Apple App Store guidelines, here is exactly what happens when your account is deleted:

Pet Stats & Badges	Permanently erased (Pet level, XP, collected badges, streaks).	Zero retention. Immediate purge.
Virtual Credits	Forfeited without cash reimbursement under terms of service.	Zero retention. Immediate purge.
Billing Transaction Records	Anonymized token receipts retained only where strictly mandated by financial/tax law.	Statutory minimum period.
